The ECQA GmbH ® was founded in 2015, forming out of an initiative and several european projects.
The ECQA GmbH is working with international experts to certify job roles worldwide and to network with experts on the needs of markets and companies.
The ECQA is an expert Organization in certifying job roles and providing exams (online and on premise) for other organizations. As well as certification of prior knowledge (formal, non-formal and informal learnings).
The ECQA GmbH ® is certifying job roles and micro certifications worldwide and is networking with experts on the needs of markets and companies. International experts from industry and higher education institutes are brought together to discuss future needs and making these certificates both industry and higher education driven. Our focus groups are meant to combine experts from all over Europe and the World to add their ideas and knowledge to shape the future needs of different competences.

ECQA GmbH ® is also a certification provider for other international organisations (e.g. iNATCS...).
European work forces need to be highly flexible and need to work for industries across Europe. Imagine that you are attending a course in one country and you successfully complete the exam at the end of the course. The certificate issued will then be recognized by certifiers and training organizations in all European countries. This will automatically lead to a higher recognition of the certificate issued and increase the chances of working for customers within the European market. Solving this issue, was the main reason for the founding of the first European network EQN which then lead to the founding of the European Certification and Qualification Association = ECQA (founded 2009).
